Our Philosophy
Our workshops for your charitable organization will combine several elements, to create goodwill among workshop participants, and obtain their financial support of your activities. We will:
Educate the participants through a systematic yet concise presentation of estate planning and planned giving material, at the level appropriate for the audience. On completing the workshop participants will have a solid understanding of the practical and legal issues, problems and possible solutions which are available to them, and written materials to help them move forward with their personal planning. They will be thankful to your organization for having made the workshop possible.
Motivate them toward charitable giving, either during their lifetimes or at death. They will see not only the possible tax advantages, which may apply only to people with larger estates, but also the moral and ethical reasons why we must all consider charity in our planning, whether our estates are modest in size or very large.
Describe a number of possible methods of charitable giving, so that each person can find a method or technique which is suitable for his or her particular situation, and can "give until it feels good."
Showcase the good work being done by your organization, through a customized presentation including photos, facts, and case studies relating to your donors and the people and causes you serve. This will be done in a tactful way, so that participants know why it is so important that they direct some of their charitable giving toward your organization. This is often best accomplished by an outsider.
